The Centennial Chapter, Daughters of American Pioneers, Centennial Chapter, participates in a parade.
The Centennial Chapter of the Daughters of American Pioneers is the "Mother Chapter," and it is located in Parkersburg, West Virginia. Its first officers were Mrs. Josephine Neal Robb, Regent; Mrs. Margaret Henderson Bartlett, Vice-Regent; Miss Allena L. Rex, Recording Secretary; Miss Dora Virginia Steers, Corresponding Secretary; Miss Carrie E. Shrewsbury, Treasurer; Miss Kinnie E. Smith, Historian; and Mrs. Florence B. Gibbens, Mrs. A. K. Leonard, Miss Anne E. Bickel, Curators.
The Centennial Chapter maintains the Henry Cooper Log Cabin Museum, which is located in the Parkersburg City Park.
The Centennial Chapter meets the 4th Tuesday of the month, May through November. We would love to have you join us!
